How does this work?
Think of it as a pay as you go service where you are essentially buying “pre-paid airtime” in the form of my time and expertise.
I meet with you face to face, telephonically or via Skype to discuss your needs and approximate number of hours you need per project or per month, as the case may be.
Hours may be topped up should more be needed.
Hours purchased must be used within 3 months of purchase or they will be lost.
For monthly retainers: Hours not used in one month may be carried forward as extra hours for the following month.
- Telephone costs (charged at standard landline or mobile rates). To keep costs down I suggest the use of Skype, email or WhatsApp.
- Travel costs within 20km radius of Pietermaritzburg (charged at AA rates).
- Travel outside of Pietermaritzburg charged at AA rates plus 50% of hourly rate.
- Printing (cost of printing as and when needed).
Note: As my business is essentially a remote business, I try to keep these types of costs to a minimum, though I am happy to travel to see my clients from time to time when necessary.
You will receive a report from me every Friday, detailing what I have done that week and how much time I used and the balance to be carried forward to the next week.
Payment is required on presentation of my invoice.
3 to 6 Month Retainer Agreements are available, otherwise I can work on a month to month basis.
All work includes a Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement, assuring that all work information is protected.
